Current studies have demonstrated that 5.8 million people in the UK live in deep poverty and 3.9 million tonnes of food is wasted every year by the food and drink industry.  NESTAC is contributing in fighting hunger by tackling food waste through redistribution to the most disadvantaged, specifically to refugees and asylum seekers, as well as new migrants from the emerging communities living in Greater Manchester.

Our Food Bank is located in Rochdale, Greater Manchester:

Maracuja Community Centre:
20, St Marys Gate, Rochdale, OL16 1DZ

Free Bakery, Grocery, Fruits and Vegetable are distributed to members of the community every Tuesday and Thursday between 10am and 1pm.  In special circumstances, we might deliver food for those who have poor health, disabled people and elderly people.

Please contact NESTAC for a free membership at or register your interest in collecting / receiving food by completing the form here.
